I mainly use it to look at the furniture, fish and bugs. I also like looking at the neighbors that could possibly move in to your town. It disappoints me that they have a lot of bad info.

I just got it and use it as a checklist for the bugs, fish, etc. that I find...and also to see the different furniture sets and such...

I have the Nintendo Power Official Guide for Animal Crossing: Wild World. I figure that if I need to look up fish, bugs, etc, that enough stuff carries over from that to City Folk. But usually, I just go to the Internet.
